Turns out the only two people with kitchen skills are Ava and Danny, although there are rumors Isabelle can cook chicken!

It seems like summer hardly even happened here in LA. Gray skies, mid-60 temps. Weird summer. But Danny and Ava are doing great. Ava and I had a blast in Canada, then she stayed back to do some theatrical work while the rest of us went back to Kauai. The kids seem to be having a good time at whatever they're up to. (Unless we're in Hawaii, Isabelle, while fantastic, generally looks cold.)

When Ava was born we planted this tree in Canada. I think she enjoys measuring up to it each year.
